How to move your history from Huckleberry

  1. Export from Huckleberry

Tap your child's icon in the menu bar, scroll down, and tap Export tracking data as CSV, then Got it! Email it. Huckleberry emails a link to one file per child, and the link lasts 24 hours. Joining someone's log? Ask them for a link instead.

  2. Pick the file in HiLo Baby

Open the email on the phone or computer you'll import from and save the file. In the HiLo Baby app, open the You tab and tap Import from Nara Baby or Huckleberry. In the browser, tap Import your history while you set up. Don't open the file in a spreadsheet first, which can change the dates.

  3. Name the child, check the preview, then add

Huckleberry's file names no child, so the preview asks which child it goes to, or for a new child's name and birth date. It shows how many of each entry come across and any rows it leaves out, with the reason. Nothing is written until you tap Add.

The file is read on your phone, or in your browser, and never uploaded. Its times are read in your phone's time zone, which the preview names, and its entries stay on that device until you add an email to back up the log.

What comes across

  • Sleep, with how your baby fell asleep and woke in the note
  • Breastfeeds with the minutes on each side, and bottles of formula or breast milk with the amount
  • Solids, with the foods and how they went down
  • Diapers with their kind, colour and texture, and pumping with each side's amount
  • Weight, length and head size, medicine and temperature
  • Tummy time, baths and other routines

What stays behind

  • Who logged each entry. Huckleberry's file does not say, so imported entries carry the name of whoever imports them.
  • SweetSpot predictions, the Schedule Creator, Berry and the sleep plans, which HiLo Baby does not have. HiLo Plus has next nap times of its own.
  • Rows HiLo Baby does not record, such as a bottle with no amount or a sleep with no end. The preview counts them, with the reason.

Questions about leaving Huckleberry

Is Huckleberry free?

Tracking is. Huckleberry's own pricing, read on 4 November 2026, keeps logging, reports and syncing between caregivers' phones free. Plus is $11.99 a month, or $5.74 a month billed yearly, and adds SweetSpot sleep predictions, the Schedule Creator, Insights, AI logging, widgets and live Lock Screen updates. Premium is $14.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed yearly, and adds Berry, its AI chat, and custom sleep plans.

Will HiLo Baby make logging paid later?

Logging has been free since HiLo Baby started, and HiLo Plus was built so it can stay free. Nothing you log ever turns read-only.

Can my partner join on Android?

Yes. One log syncs between iPhone, Android and the web, each of you with your own login.

Does each caregiver get their own name?

Yes. Huckleberry shares one account: everyone signs in with the same login on their own phone. In HiLo Baby each person is invited by link or email, signs in with their own address and logs under their own name, and the timeline says who did what.

What if I import the same file twice?

Nothing is added twice. Each Huckleberry row keeps the same id in HiLo Baby, so a later export of the same child adds only what is new. To start over, switch on Clear what's here first in the import preview.

Is HiLo Baby in the App Store and on Google Play?

Yes. Get HiLo Baby free from the App Store on iPhone or from Google Play on Android. One log stays in sync between an iPhone and an Android phone. On a computer, it runs in the browser at app.hilo.baby.

Tonight Whoever takes the next shift logs it under their own name.

Free to log. Your Huckleberry history comes with you, and the log stays on your device until you add an email.
