How to move your history from Nara Baby

Export from Nara Baby
On Nara's Activity screen, tap the avatar next to your child's name, then Export Data, and save the file. Don't open it in a spreadsheet first, which can change the dates.

Pick the file in HiLo Baby
In the HiLo Baby app, open the You tab and tap Import from Nara Baby or Huckleberry, then pick the file from Files on iPhone or from your downloads on Android. In the browser, tap Import your history while you set up, or your initial at the top, then Import.

Check the preview, then add
The preview shows which child each Nara profile goes to, how many of each entry come across, and any rows it leaves out, with the reason. Nothing is written until you tap Add.
The file is read on your phone, or in your browser, and never uploaded. Its entries stay on that device until you add an email to back up the log, and then they sync to everyone you share it with.

Questions about leaving Nara Baby
Will HiLo Baby make logging paid later?
Logging has been free since HiLo Baby started, and HiLo Plus was built so it can stay free. Logging, sharing with two more people, widgets and export are free, and nothing you log ever turns read-only. HiLo Plus is extra: next nap times, a report for the doctor and longer Trends.
Is Nara Baby still free?
No. Nara's own FAQ, read on 4 November 2026, lists $9.99 a month or $99.99 for life. Its 7-day trial starts with the first entry, and when no one in the family subscribes, the app turns read-only for everyone: entries can be viewed and exported, but not added.
Can my partner join on Android?
Yes. One log syncs between iPhone, Android and the web, each of you with your own login.
Is there an Apple Watch app?
Not yet. Nara Baby has one. HiLo Baby has free widgets, the Lock Screen timer and Siri on iPhone instead.
Does it keep who logged each entry?
No. Nara's export names caregivers by first name only, so every imported entry is logged under the name of the person who imports it. Entries logged in HiLo Baby afterwards carry each caregiver's own name.
What if I import the same file twice?
Nothing is added twice. Each Nara entry keeps the same id in HiLo Baby, so a second import adds only what is new. To start over, switch on Clear what's here first in the import preview.
Is HiLo Baby in the App Store and on Google Play?
Yes. Get HiLo Baby free from the App Store on iPhone or from Google Play on Android. One log stays in sync between an iPhone and an Android phone. On a computer, it runs in the browser at app.hilo.baby.
