How to switch from Pip
-
Get HiLo Baby
From the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android, on the phone you log from. Joining someone's log? Ask them for a link instead.
-
Start the log
Add your name, then your baby's name and birth date, and tap Start the log. It stays on your phone until you add an email.
-
Invite your partner
Add your email to back up the log, then tap Invite someone by link on the You tab and send the link to your partner. They open it, sign in with their own email and log under their own name.
Once the log is backed up, it syncs to every phone you invite, iPhone or Android, and each phone keeps logging with no signal.
What stays behind

Questions about leaving Pip
Is Pip free?
To log on one device, yes. Pip's App Store listing, read on 4 November 2026, puts cloud sync, partner sharing, voice input, smart alerts and wellness features in Premium, at $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year after a 7-day free trial.
Can my partner and I share one log for free?
Yes. Add your email to back up the log, then tap Invite someone in the app and send the link to your partner in a message. In the browser you can also send it to their email. Each of you logs under your own name on your own phone, iPhone or Android, and the timeline says who did what.
Can I import my Pip history?
No. Pip's site and App Store listing, read on 4 November 2026, offer no way to export the log, so there is no file to bring across. HiLo Baby imports Nara Baby and Huckleberry exports, so if your log started in one of those, import that app's export while you set up. Otherwise the log starts with your next entry.
Do I need an account?
No. Like Pip, HiLo Baby logs with no account. You add an email only to back up the log or share it, and sign-in is a link by email, with no password.
Is HiLo Baby in the App Store and on Google Play?
Yes. Get HiLo Baby free from the App Store on iPhone or from Google Play on Android. One log stays in sync between an iPhone and an Android phone. On a computer, it runs in the browser at app.hilo.baby.
Tonight The next feed, on both your phones.
Backing up and sharing with your partner stay free. The log stays on your device until you add an email, then syncs to your partner's phone.
